One of my most favorite blogs to follow is Ps... I Made This. I first came across this uber talented blogger, Erica Domesek, about a year ago and have been a loyal follower ever since. I am always amazed by her creative inspiration boards used for her resourceful projects. Although, I am trying to hold on to every last piece of summer (us southern Californians have just begun to feel the summer weather) everywhere I look I see fall - blogs, shops, heck Target started trnsitioning their Halloween decor a month ago! The one thing that I am embracing with the change of seasons is the new fall trends... one that I am most looking forward to is Gold! Love everything that has to do with this metallic goodness!

Ooh la la...

The boy was out of town for the night... so I had the evening to myself - which I wasn't too upset about as I just received my new InStyle in the mail... and was uber excited to start flipping the 600 glossy pages of goodness! It is the fall fashion special - and I came across a page displaying the new bag trends for the upcoming season - one happened to be chain straps - well it reminded me of my fabulous find at a local consignment store just last week! I found this fantastic vintage beaded bag for only $6!!! I can only imagine the wonderful events this bag accompanied their former owner to... now it is all mine... for again - only $6! I think this may be one of my new favorite accessories for fall... LOVE!

Survivor...

I am back... and alive to tell about it! Dylan and I got back from our first family camping adventure last night. Dylan's Dad came up with a plan about a year ago to take the whole fam on a four day camping trip on Santa Cruz Island - off the coast of California. Please note that this was the first time that many of us had ever camped... so you can imagine our excitement that all of us made it back in one piece :-) We ended up having a blast... despite the lack of running water! It was actually a nice change a pace... living without showers and electricity... not to mention cell service gave us all a chance to appreciate the smaller things in life.

Sneak-Peek!

So... everyone knows by now that I am a huge fan of the Target collaborations - favorite designers so far being Anna Sui, Liberty of London and Cynthia Vincent. Well I just got word that the three latest designers... Mulberry, Tucker and John Derian will be holding a 36-hour sale via the invitation only site, Gilt! I am so excited to see the items we all can be expecting at our local Targets! I am especially excited to see the Mulberry bags... so far I have not been all too impressed with the Target collaborations for handbags... I guess those are a bit more difficult to pull off - most have looked 'cheap' to me... Ooh and can NOT wait to get my paws on some of Tucker's feminine blouses and dresses!

The only problem with this sale is that I will be camping on an island off the coast of California and don't believe I will have access to the Internet...

Sorry I have been totally missing in action! It has been a crazy week. Last Friday I headed up to Huntington Beach to meet the boy at the US Open. We spent the weekend up there because he had to be up there for work. It was crazy crowded and I was happy to be home Sunday night :-)

Monday morning I woke up early and picked my grandma up and headed up to Calabasas for a few days with my Aunt. From the second I stepped foot in her house we were on the go - I had so much fun! We spent the week enjoying yummy dinners out, fabulous vino, shuttling the kiddos around to every appointment/practice under the sun, lunching, shopping (of course!) and much more! I scored some uber fabulous finds at the mall - My favorite of them all is this skirt from J Crew... seriously so excited to strut my stuff in this shiny little number... I am already drooling over all of the fun ways I can wear it!

William Rast+Target = Very Happy

Target just announced their latest collaboration set to hit stores December 19... William Rast! The two men behind this fabulous rocker chic brand is the one and only Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala. Target is staying mum on all of the juicy deets like the actual pieces or price range but considering it is Target we can pretty much bet that it will be within most budgets - oh and boys too will get to reap the benefits of this frugal steal! Until they release their look book of what we have to come... feast your eyes on this goodness from their Spring 2010 collection...
